Friday was indeed a Day of Adventure. We had a 9am appointment with Sally’s wonderful Dr. for her 10 month appointment. She is in the 97th percentile for height!! She is also the toughest little person I have ever met. She gutted out a Hepititus B shot, a TB test and had a little blood drawn for an iron test. She checked out okay on that and we have to check the TB one on Sunday. She was soooo goood! She just sat on my lap and she barely even cried for 10 seconds during the shot. Amazing.
Then off to work for a day of “fun” WooWoo.
Came home this evening and the fam and I went for a little drive that ended up at Coldstone Creamery. It was pretty busy, but usually goes pretty fast. Tonight was the exception to the rule. The 2 girls were doing their best to keep their heads above water, but it was not going well. After the girl made my ice cream, she went to put it into the container and ended up fumbling it and wearing my ice cream and meant she needed to make me another one. When that was done we went to the register to pay, but that was quite the ordeal as well. The credit card machine was out of paper and she did not know where to find any. She called someone on the phone who was able to talk her through getting the paper, but did not know how to explain to her the proper way to load it, so after 10 minutes of waiting she asked me if I needed a receipt and I said I did not, and I left. But the quote for the evening goes to the other girl who was helping another customer. They were done and the lady needed to pay, and she had cash, so there should not have been a hold up, but one of their registers was not working properly and my transaction was open on the other, so she looked up at the customer and said, “We have to like, wait, cause this register here is, like, stupid”
