inauguration day

i get pretty geeked up by all things political. inauguration day is right there at the top of my list! today did not disappoint. I could not rip myself away from the coverage this morning… watching all of the current and former politicians arrive and seeing the swearing in. i made sally sit with me and watch it all… though I am sure she would have preferred to watch mickey mouse. at least I can remind her that she watched it with me.

i wish president obama all the best as he embarks on his administration during these uncertain times. i pray for him and his family to remain strong. i hope that he is able to change the tone of politics and tackle many of the challenges ahead.
