25 years of mac

i was one of the lucky few. i was an original user of the first mac released. my dad was a technology nut who tended to buy at the bleeding edge of technology. when the mac was introduced he realized the potential of this system and he plunked down the money to buy a mac. in addition to the base computer he also purchased the 20 MB hard drive as well as the wide carriage dot matrix printer. it was an amazing device! it was capable of producing documents and images with ease.

all these years after the introduction of the original mac I am still an avid mac user. the mac as a tool has continued to grow and mature… but there will always be a fond place in my heart for the very first time I remember seeing that black and white screen fire up with a smiling mac. happy birthday mac!
