As a long time resident of Huntington Beach, and a Planning Commissioner – I am so glad that Blair Farley is running for City Council. I have had the honor of serving with Blair on the Planning Commission for the past 4 years. In that time, I am consistently impressed and appreciative of his input. Blair always comes to the meetings fully prepared and he offers a viewpoint that is both refreshing and enlightening. He makes his points in a comprehensible and logical manner, and I have NEVER seen him compromise his integrity. His ethics are unquestionable and I find that inspirational given our current political environment. He doesn’t play games and you always know where he stands.

On the Planning Commission I have discovered that Blair’s knowledge base is extensive and his grasp of our city’s ordinances, governing documents and their nuances  has proven invaluable in our decision-making ability as a body. He will be sorely missed. I will be sorry to see him leave the Commission as he is one of our strongest members and very much needed – but I must say he is needed even more on the City Council. That is why I will be voting for him this winter.
